Policies on Curricular Changes: Dropping, Changing and Adding of Subjects

  1. Any student may be allowed to drop subjects already enrolled in provided this is done properly and with the approval of the instructors and the department chairpersons concerned.
  2. Addition and/or substitution of subjects shall be done with the approval of the instructor, the Department Chairperson concerned and the College Registrar. Application for addition and/or substitution of subjects must be filed within the first two weeks of classes. However, application is within the first three days during the summer term.
  3. No substitution shall be allowed for any subject prescribed in the curriculum in which the student failed except when in the opinion of the Department Chairman, the subject being substituted covers substantially the same subject matter as the required subject.
  4. Changing of subjects shall be allowed pending to the approval by the College Registrar and upon the recommendation of the instructor concerned.
